In Chennai Central Station Twin Blasts, kill woman, injure 14 others.

Two low- intensity bomb blasts took place on the Bangalore-Guwahati Express as it was approaching platform number 9 at the Chennai Central Station, killing one and injuring at least 14 others. The explosions took place on coaches S4 and S5 of the train.

The railway station has been closed for public and the officials have rushed in immediately to investigate further. The train services are completely stopped and the security has been strengthened in and around the railway station area. Public has been informed not to touch any suspected baggage and report immediately to the officials.

The nature of explosion and the exact number of casualties are expected to be be reported after official investigation. The one killed is reported to be a young lady of Guntur native named Swathi and travelling between Guwahati to Vijayawada. There are reports of twin blasts in the train which is not very clear.
